FILMED IN SUPERMARIONATION

Released in 2014 just ahead of the 50th anniversary of Thunderbirds, Filmed in Supermarionation is the theatrically-released documentary version of my book of the same name. Featuring extensive interviews, puppet and model recreations, the film was premiered at the BFI before enjoying theatrical, home entertainment, and TV releases at home and abroad. The film received 4 star ratings from several publications including The Guardian and Empire.

CARTOON CARNIVAL

A feature-length TV documentary looking at the history of American silent animation, tracing the roots from the various earliest persistence of vision tricks in the 1800s to the coming of Walt Disney.

Two documentaries for the blu-ray home entertainment release of Peter Davison’s first series of Doctor Who. Interviews with cast and crew, and newly shot 16mm sequences featuring recreation sets.

CENTURY 21, SLOUGH

On the eve of demolition of the original studio buildings, this poignant documentary takes the crew of Thunderbirds, Captain Scarlet and other Gerry & Sylvia Anderson produced hits back to the site where the magic happened one last time.

AN AUDIENCE WITH THE SAINT/THE MORNING AFTER: REMEMBERING THE PERSUADERS

One of my earliest jobs was to produce a documentary about The Saint and The Persuaders!. For these programmes, I took a crew to Monte Carlo to interview James Bond himself, Sir Roger Moore. A year later I interviewed Tony Curtis at his home in Las Vegas
