I am a London-based independent film-maker with credits across most aspects of production over a 20 year career. Roles include: producing, directing, editing, cinematography, voice overs, puppeteering, and special effects. My work has been screened theatrically and on television at home and abroad.

Highlights include the nationwide theatrical release of Thunderbirds: The Anniversary Episodes in Japan (in the top ten with Spiderman: No Way Home), producing the puppet and miniature film sequences for a million pound advert campaign for the Halifax, and a guest spot on ITV’s hit drama series Endeavour. For the last ten years I have been the co-director of Century 21 Films.

In 2025, my original series, Nebula-75, for which I provided many of the scripts and voices, was selected for official preservation by the British Film Institute. The series began life during the pandemic on my Century 21 Films YouTube channel, before selling to Japan for theatrical and tv release in 2022. The Century 21 Films YouTube channel has over 80,000 subscribers with some videos garnering over 1,000,000 views.

Aside from the moving image, I also take stills on film, predominantly with my 1937 Rolleiflex Automat.

I began my career as a documentary producer and have worked with and / or interviewed many people including Sir Roger Moore, Tony Curtis, Christopher Plummer, Sir Ken Adam, Stephen Poliakoff, Jean Marsh, Peter Davison, Nicholas Parsons, Ian Ogilvy, Anthony Andrews, Gerry & Sylvia Anderson and many more. I have also been interviewed many times in my capacity as a producer and film historian, particularly on the subject of Supermarionation which I am in the unique position of having documented and revived.

From 2010 to 2015 I lived in Tokyo and Geneva. I hold a black belt (Shodan) from the famous Kodokan Institute in Tokyo, and speak English, German, Japanese and French. For five years I specialised in rapid one-to-one language tuition for beginners at a private school in London. I am an English / German dual national.
